NOTICE OF RULE-MAKING

January 12, 2012

The Board of Chiropractic Examiners has begun rule-making to repeal six rules deemed to be obsolete. A public hearing will be held to receive comments on these rules. The date of the hearing will be March 8, 2012, and the hearing will begin at 10:00 a.m. The location of the hearing will be the Board’s offices at 174 Church Street North, Concord, NC.

Written objections and comments may be mailed to Carol Hall, Executive Secretary of the Board, P.O. Box 312, Concord, NC 28026. The comment period ends April 16, 2012.

The reason for repeal is that these rules contain no substantive text and merely refer the reader to various statutes in the Administrative Procedure Act, Chapter 150B of the North Carolina General Statutes. The proposed effective date of repeal is July 1, 2012.
